Sunrisers Hyderabad handed a 8 wicket defeat to the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy stadium. Captain David Warner slammed a 27-ball 57 and then Shikhar Dhawan guided the innings with an unbeaten 50. Earlier, Sunrisers won the toss and elected to field. The move almost back-fired as Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli got off to a a flying start. However, some discipline bowling from Trent Boult led to a RCB collapse and except Ab de Villiers, the entire middle order gave in. From 77/1. RCB were shot out for 166. SRH made it look easy from the start of the innings and finished it of with 16 balls remaining.
